Spirit Lifting Treatment
If your not feeling your best, a essential oil treatment works wonders. A weekly massage from a aromatherapist and a daily self massage would be very helpful for both physical and emotional support. Additionally, the following oil blends can be used in the bath, in a air spray (without the vegetable oil) or in the oil burner 🙂
Bergamot oil – Bergamot is a cross between sour orange and lemon, a fresh and elegant aroma. It minimises symptoms of stress-induced anxiety and mild mood disorder.
Grapefruit oil – Slightly warming, it helps with water retention, lymphatic congestion and cellulite. It has an anti-depressant effect, and lifts the mood.
Sandalwood oil – A sweet and powerful odor. It is a natural mood enhancer that can make you feel more alert and focused. Sandalwood has a self-perceived effect of creating a sense of being able to manage.
Lavender oil – it is a strong sedative. Lavender can improve/stabilise your mood, decreases anxiety and restlessness, and intestinal conditions of nervous origin.

- 5 tablespoons (100ml) vegetable oil
- 30 drops bergamot oil
- 30 drops grapefruit oil
- 20 drops sandalwood oil
- 10 drops lavender oil
- Mix the oils in a small bottle, shake well to blend. Leave for a few days to synergize.
- Pour 1-2 teaspoons into a hot bowl and use to massage.
- Pour 2 teaspoons into a bath and soak for 10-15 minutes.
