Wildberry Smoothie

Bursting with fresh blueberries and sweet raspberries, this berry smoothie is the perfect spring recipe and is ready in 5 minutes.

For the past 5 or so years, I’ve been absolutely addicted to baking oatmeal breakfast cookies. Then this last winter I became a convert to the easy, creamy deliciousness of Brown Rice Porridge.

But because the season is changing and spring has pretty much arrived, its time to freshen up my mornings and with a nourishing, fruity breakfast smoothie. And Im looking forward to starting every morning with THIS smoothie.

Introducing my new go-to morning smoothie, a blend of greek yogurt, raspberries, blueberries, Collagen Super-Blend and coconut water.

I love it because its refreshing, light and hydrating, plus its quick and easy as there’s no cooking involved! Pre-surf smoothie – check! I have been using Gelpro’s Hemp and Collagen (the Pete Evans Collagen SuperBlend) because it tastes fantastic, and is simply half organic hemp and half collagen, great sources of protein, magnesium and zinc.

Long gone are the days when I would make protein pancakes and smoothies with poor quality protein powders with added sugars, artificial flavoring and thickeners. In fact, one brand gave me a pretty serious rash on my face! So now I like to stick with high quality, pure combinations, which is why I love Gelpro products.

Wildberry Smoothie

This Wildberry Smoothie is so simple, creamy, refreshing, and healthy – a great breakfast or snack!

Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup fresh or frozen raspberries 8 fresh or frozen raspberries
  • 1/4 cup fresh or frozen blueberries
  • 3/4 cup greek yogurt
  • 1 scoop Gelpro collagen super blend
  • 1/2 cup coconut water
  • 4-6 Ice cubes

Toppings

  • Organic cacao nibs
  • Fresh raspberries 
  • Strawberries, sliced
  • Pistachio kernels (or nuts of choice)

Instructions

    Place all the smoothie ingredients in a blender and blitz until smooth.
    Serve topped with cacao nibs, pistachios, fresh raspberries and strawberries.
